사랑도 나무처럼
사계절을 타는 것일까

물오른 설레임이
연두빛 새싹으로
가슴에 돋아나는
희망의 봄이 있고

태양을 머리에 인 잎새들이
마음껏 쏟아내는 언어들로
누구나 초록의 시인이 되는
눈부신 여름이 있고

열매 하나 얻기 위해
모두를 버리는 아픔으로
눈물겹게 아름다운
충만의 가을이 있고

눈 속에 발을 묻고
홀로서서 침묵하며 기다리는
인고의 겨울이 있네

사랑도 나무처럼
그런 것일까

다른 이에겐 들키고 싶지 않은
그리움의 무게를
바람에 실어 보내며
오늘도 태연한 척 눈을 감는
나무여 사랑이여
